Used to order my pizzas from the Railway Hotel, but never again after tonight. Phoned order through & advised of a 20min wait but waited over 40mins (on a slow night) because staff had miss placed my order. Got home and it was the wrong pizza. Rang them to tell them of the mistake and the manager insisted I was wrong, I don't know what pizza I eat. Agreed to a refund if I brought the pizza back. On returning the pizza I was then informed that they had mixed up my order with someone else. My pizza was cold.

Family lunch while travelling through. At first when looking at the location we were not sure if we should stop but lucky we did! Great service and food was delicious and hearty. Kids loved the schnitzels. 5 out of 5 value for money and feeling of a true regional pub, very welcoming.

Had a great evening at the Railway Hotel fantastic fully loaded pizzas. Very friendly staff and locals. When in Gilgandra drop in for a beer and great food.

The pub was absolutely packed. They definitely were like one big family. Customer service could had been a little more warm and welcoming to us outsiders. We almost went elsewhere. The restaurant side was dark and quite. The entree came quickly after we had gotten drinks. Food came shortly after. My partner and I had chicken schnitzel/chicken parmigiana they were so good. Son had a burger it was good. My other son had lasange and it looked homemade. Didnt have bachemel sauce but my son liked it. My daughter had fettuccine with prawns it was okay. She liked it. Cheesy garlic bread is absolutely delicious. Thank you for a decent feed we needed it after a big detour because of bushfires. A massive road trip of 11 hrs. Thanks again.

Good meals friendly staff excellent value for money and a courtesy bus . We were well looked after whilst staying at silver oaks motel by the railway hotel just down the road . They deserve a good mention . Michael & Heather from Melbourne

Made this our stopover for the night. Free camping beside the pub if patronising the business. Wednesday night was Parma night. $20. Good size feed, well cooked. Friendly staff, nice and cosy, but quite large inside. We were able to grab a shower for $5pp. Thanks guys.
